Puanga

PUANGA

Puanga is the star that carries the signs of the year to the horizon. Some iwi of the east say that Puanga is more significant than Matariki because the Matariki cluster is notvisible to the north east sky. Now, searching for another mainstar in that area in the sky, there you will find Puanga, thelargest shining star.
