Launch of Ki te Ao Mārama
Mon 23 March 20
Tamaiti ākona ki te kāinga, tūngia ki te Marae, tau ana ki te Ao.
A child who is taught at home, will stand on their Marae and in the world confidently, with dignity and be admired by others.
It’s important to us that all tamariki and rangatahi who learn in te reo Māori have access to information, guidance and resources to support their learning from home.
Ki te Ao Mārama is a new online space on kauwhatareo.govt.nz that provides parents and whānau with practical advice, guidance and resources to use with your tamariki and rangatahi (aged 0-18 years) to support learning in te reo Māori. It’s also intended to support the learning plan that your child’s teacher has prepared.
Two sites are provided, one in Te Reo Māori, and in English.
